 Relocation Specialist At Your Service! My professional background began, after graduating from UCONN in 2000, with a Bachelor’s Degree, and a passion for the law. Years of experience as a paralegal, specializing in Family Law, specifically divorces, and the Residential Real Estate transactions that accompany that process, is what prepared me for the transition to full time Realtor. After moving from New York to Florida with my husband and daughter; with the advice of friend, I interviewed for a job at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices -Florida Showcase Properties, in Citrus County. It became clear rather quickly, that with my prior experience in the legal field, becoming an agent seemed inevitable. Contrary to how it is done here in Florida, while living in the northeast working as a paralegal, I was solely responsible for almost every aspect of a transaction. This included the title search, which back then without the records on computer, was done by hand at each individual town clerks office; solving any issues/liens that arise as a result of the title search, being the point of contact for all parties involved, from the mortgage lender, the underwriter, buyer and seller, real estate agents, title company etc; And finally, preparing all the necessary closing documents; this included the mortgage/loan paperwork, deeds, any releases, and last but certainly not least, the HUD Settlement Statement, with all numbers accounted for. To say that I am familiar with the ins and outs of a real estate transaction, would be an understatement. It is not only a source of pride, but also the foundation for my success as an agent. My knowledge of the ins and outs of a transaction, allows me to represent my clients with confidence, knowing that I am able to successfully handle any situation that may arise. In my first full year as an agent, I achieved multi-million dollar producer status, and based on my clients reviews, I am considered one of the top 5 realtors for client satisfaction in Citrus County. There is nothing more satisfying than getting to know my clients on a personal level, and finding the absolute perfect place for them to “nest” and call home. My favorite part of this profession, is pouring over listings late into the night, until I find what I feel is the perfect fit for my clients needs. For me, the best part of a transaction, is observing the body language and the facial expressions of my clients, when we have entered the home that is to be “the one”; or the response, when the homeowner of one of my listings has received the offer they have been waiting for. Clients who are first time homebuyers, vacation home buyers, to those who are downsizing in order to enjoy retirement; for me, there is nothing that compares to being an integral part of this process.
